For non-emergency matters, an attorney will generally return your call within eight business hours. 24/7 access is available for covered legal emergencies (e.g., if detained).
Are pre-existing legal matters covered?
Yes, you can get advice and consultation on pre-existing issues. Full representation for pre-existing matters is typically excluded but may be handled at a discounted rate.
Is Trial Defense covered?
Covers civil defense. Pre-trial and trial hours vary depending on the the legal plan. The attorney's time for many services (including certain trial defense hours) are covered, but you are responsible for court filing fees, fines, penalties, and other out-of-pocket expenses.
Is representation for a divorce included?
Uncontested divorce, separation, or annulment are generally included with a 180 day waiting period. Contested or complex family law matters are typically available at a 25% discount off the provider law firm's standard hourly rate.
